ස්පෑම්
ඉන්ටනෙට් සෙකියුරිටි එහෙමත් නැත්නම් අන්තර්ජාල රැකවරණය නැතිවෙලා යන තවත් ක්රමයක් විදියට ස්පෑම් හඳුන්වන්න පුලුවන්. ස්පෑම් කියල කියන්නේ විශේෂ ඉල්ලීමක් නැතිව පණිවුඩ විශාල ප්රමාණයක් ව්යාකූල ලෙස යවන එකට. අපි ඒකට ඉංග්රීසියෙන් තමා ස්පැම් කියල කියන්නේ. මෙතනදී බහුලවම අපිට ස්පෑම් කියන වචනෙ ඇහෙන්නේ ඊමේල් වලදී. මොකද ස්පැම් කිරීම අනිත් මාධ්ය වලට වඩා ඊමේල හරහා සිද්ධවෙන හින්දා. ඒකට හේතුව තමා ඊමේල අරින්න ඒතරම් මුදලක් යන්නෙ නැති එක . තොරතුරු ප්රසිද්ධ කරන්න ස්පෑම් කිරීම හරිම ලාබ ක්රමයක් උදාහරණයකට භාන්ඩ විකුණන ස්පෑම් කාරයෙකුට (spammer) පුලුවන් එයාගේ භාන්ඩ විකුනාගන්න, අන්තරජාලයෙන් එයා දන්නෙවත් නැති කට්ටියගෙ ඊමේල ලිපින සොයාගෙන. මේ වැඩේ කරන්න ඔහුට කරන්න තියෙන්නෙ ඊමේල ලිපිනයක් සකස්කරලා අර එකතුකරගත් ඊමේල් ලිපින සියල්ල දාලා එකපාරටම තමට වුවමනා ඊමේල් එක අරින එක. මෙයින් ස්පෑම් කරයාට විකිණීමට තියන භාන්ඩ ගැන අර සියල්ලට එකවර දන්වන්න...

For comparison, A human hair is about 60-80,000 nanometers wide. A sheet of newspaper is about 100,000 nanometers thick. If a marble were a nanometer, then one meter would be the size of the Earth. 1 inch = 25 400 000 nm. 10 -9 m is 3 atoms long. It’s hard to imagine just how small nanotechnology is . The microscopes needed to see things at the Nano scale were invented relatively recently about 30 years ago.
